Learn to Read Latin

Dear friends,

Beginning this year, I will be teaching an intensive Latin reading course in the Classical Liberal Arts Academy.   If you’d like to learn to read the Latin of the New Testament, this will be the most efficient and satisfying course you will probably find because we will just…READ.  I’ll be explaining every word as we go and we’ll move 4-10 verses in each lesson.  The course is a part of the CLAA’s academic curriculum, but it would be a great course for adults and older students to take who want to read lots of Latin.

You can see a sample lesson here (the first lesson):

For more information, visit the course page on the CLAA website–the course you want is Classical Grammar IB.

I’m looking forward not only to teaching you Latin but to discussing the readings with you.  Remember, we’ll be reading the translation given to the Church by St. Jerome!

God bless,
William Michael
